About Prophets
Mas’alah 1: Lot of Messengers (Prophets) have been sent by Allah to the world for the guidance of the human beings and all of them are free from blemishes and sins. Their actual number is known to Allah alone. To establish their truthfulness, Allah made such new and difficult events happen through them which ordinary men cannot do. Such acts or events are called miracles.

The first of those Messengers was Hadhrat Aadam and the last is Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam and the rest were in between. Some of these are very famous i.e. Prophet Noah, Hadhrat Ibraheem, Hadhrat Is'haaq, Hadhrat Ismaa’eel, Hadhrat Yaqoob, Hadhrat Yoosuf, Hadhrat Daawood, Hadhrat Sulaimaan, Hadhrat Ayyoob, Hadhrat Moosaa, Hadhrat Haaroon, Hadhrat Zakariyya, Hadhrat Yah’yaa, Hadhrat Eisaa, Hadhrat Ilyaas, Hadhrat Al'yas’a Hadhrat Yoonus, Hadhrat Loot, Hadhrat Idrees, Hadhrat Zul'kifl, Hadhrat Saalih, Hadhrat Shu’ayb (peace be upon all of them).

Mas’alah 2: Allah has not revealed the number of the Prophets to anyone, our belief should be to have faith in all of the Prophets those who are known or whom we do not know.

Mas’alah 3: Out of the Prophets the position of some is more exalted than others and the most exalted is our Holy Prophet Mohammad Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam.
Mas’alah 4: No new Prophet shall come after Mohammad Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam and he is the Prophet of all those to be born till the Day of Judgement.
