The Me'raaj of the Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam was a physical one i.e. with body and soul. In the mind of a true believer, a doubt concerning the possibility of a physical ascent to the heavens does not occur and for him this is a fact which requires no logical reasoning. The Creator of the universe, the One who is keeping the sky aloft without any pillars, the One that causes the tender shoot to penetrate the hard soil and develop in to a beautiful flower, the One who created man from dust, the One who divided the sea for Moosaa alayhis salaam, the One who cooled the burning fire for Ibraaheem alayhis salaam; took his Beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam physically from Makkah to Masjid-ul-Aqsaa and thereafter to Sidra-tul-Muntahaa. what doubt can there be concerning Allah's power?
Furthermore, if man with all his limitations can visit the moon, then what is impossible
for Allah?
