Mas’alah 1
: When a Muslim devotes
himself to good and abstains
from sins and does
not love this world and whole-heartedly
obeys the Holy
Prophet Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam, he
becomes friendly and dear to Allah.
Such a person is called 'Walee'(Saint).
Mas’alah 2:
Sometimes
such persons perform such things
which others cannot do. These
are called ‘Karaamat'
(inspiration or super-natural acts).
Mas’alah 3: However exalted Walee may become, but he can never be equal to the Prophet.
Mas’alah 4: However dear a Walee may be to Allah, so long as he retains his senses, obedience of Shari’ah, religious instructions and practices is incumbent upon him. He cannot be excused the observance of prayer, fast and other practices. Sinful acts are not permissible for him in any case.
Mas’alah
5:
Anyone who does not
follow the Shari'ah (religious law) cannot
be friendly to Allah.
If any extraordinary or surprising act is done by him, it is either magic or satanic. No
one should have faith in him or his acts.
